Dean’s Park is a much-loved green space tucked beside York Minster, offering some of the finest views of the cathedral’s north facade and Chapter House. Visitors picnic on the lawns, stroll among mature trees and the remnants of the medieval Archbishop’s Palace, and use it as a peaceful pause from the busy city streets. It is freely accessible through gates from Minster Yard and is a popular spot for summer events and refreshment stalls.
