About Mulberry Hall Building
Mulberry Hall is one of York’s oldest and most beautiful surviving medieval houses, with a Tudor-style timber-framed facade and a priest hole on the upper floor. After serving as the renowned Mulberry Hall china and glass shop until its 2016 closure, the building was leased by German family firm Käthe Wohlfahrt, who opened their first UK store here in August 2016. The two-floor interior is now filled with traditional Erzgebirge nutcrackers, hand-blown ornaments and year-round Christmas decor, just 200m from York Minster.
